GENEALOGY & FAMILY HISTORY |
|
THE FOLLOWING IS A BRIEF STATEMENT OF HOW THE SITE WORKS PLUS AN OUTLINE OF ITS FUTURE INTENTIONS |
This website was first launched on the 28 December 2002 by
Mike Trinder, who's initial aim was to find some of the lost relatives discovered during his own research. It has grown much since then and now aims to aid other Trinder's with their research by freely providing as much information and help as possible with the name TRINDER. The site is normally added to every month, although this is really depends on when new details are available and also when there is time to upload them. You will find the index to the site on the left of this page, it is an expanding tree leading to further links from the initial file name. It remains in constant view, so you should find the site very easy to navigate. You will also notice that I have filed the information by county, I considered other options, but eventually decided that because certain names repeat themselves through diferent branches and families, it may be easier to choose a location first. The Surname Origin page gives a few desriptions of how the name originated and also shows a map indicating how the name Trinder was distributed at the time of the 1881 census. The Trinder Genealogy Website is a fully searchable database. Just type
in as much information as you can in to the search box to the left and it
will hopefully produce the best search result for you. MY AIM is to provide interested parties with TRINDER Information,
so if you have any
Trinder information we don’t have, and you are willing to share it, then
please drop me a line and/or send me a Gedcom of your research and we will publish any or all of whatever you would like seen. ONE LAST WORD OF CAUTION - All the information here on the site is as accurate as I can possibly make it, and is at best a transcript from the original source, and in some cases several times removed from the original. I would therefore encourage you to view the information as a research aid, and try to check the originals out for yourselves whenever you can. If you enjoy your visit here (and even if you don’t) I would be pleased
to hear your comments which you can leave by filling in and sending the form below Good Luck with your research |
